The Martha Effect

I heart Martha.
I do.  I heart her.
Hear that world?  I heart Martha Stewart.
I was watching her Thanksgiving Special this evening on the Fine Living Network (perfect place for her, right?)  and I instantly was hit with what I like to call, “The Martha Effect”.
The Martha Effect is two parts cozy, three parts comfy, one part [...]

The Good Wife

Ever since I’ve been married, I’ve been plagued with feelings of doubt and insecurity.  I’m indecisive, I’m wishy-washy.  I don’t know what I want and I feel the need to explain why I want what I want.  I don’t know where I’m going or how to get there.  I don’t know who I am or [...]

No Moronic Behavior Day

First of all, Satan sucks.  Pass it on.
Secondly, Sharon is feeling very “Fifth Wheel”-y.  So, go read her blog, she has some pretty cool posts and it would make both you and her happy.

Of hippies and emos and goths.

I don’t consider myself a very prejudiced person.
I care less about a person’s race, ethnicity, religion, political leaning or sexual preference than I do about what’s inside.

Well…
REALLY dislike them.
I’m talking about hippies, emos and goths.
I’m [...]

I am obsessed.

I can’t stop myself.
Believe me, there are plenty of people who would adore it if I would just STOP and SHUT UP.
And yet, the big topic of conversation since the election continues to be…
Christmas Decorating.
I KNOW!  ALRIGHT?!  I. KNOW.
It is NOVEMBER 8th.  We are one week past Halloween and four days past the election.
AND I. [...]

I Demand a Recount

Nah.  I’m just pulling your leg.  I don’t really.  It’d be kind of silly for me to suggest something so inane, huh?
I gotta say, I was prepared for the worst…
And unfortunately?
Well, you can guess that my guy didn’t win.
The funny thing about this whole thing is that I actually got emotional about it.  When McCain was [...]
