Primaries

Whoa, yeah, seriously…how much do I rock with keeping this thing up to date?

Yes, yes.

But enough about me.  How ’bout those Presidential Primaries?

Is it weird that watching the debates and the primary results  is actually fun for me?

‘Cause it is.  Oh-so-much fun.

The boy has so much to look forward to next fall.

Here are my initial thoughts on the front-runners from both sides…

Hillary Clinton: Could everyone please leave this poor woman alone?  First you accuse her of having no emotion and being unrelatable, then you poke and make fun because she’s “crying” about her defeat and getting upset too easily.  Dudes.  You can’t have it both ways.  Make up your mind.  I like Hillary.  If I had to vote Democrat, she’d get my vote.

Barack Obama:  Yeah.  I know.  I like him too.  Who doesn’t?  But with everyone liking him so much, I feel like it’s my duty to dislike him.  Seriously.  Somebody has to.

John Edwards:  Insert full-body shiver here.  Finally.  Someone I dislike more than Mitt Romney.  The man just creeps me out with his cutesy charm (I hate cutesy people) and his tactic of riding the coat-tails of Obama.  Blaaaah.

John McCain:  Seriously?  Call me crazy, but I have a hard time believing that his presence in this race will even be relevant a few months down the road.  Nice guy though.

Mike Huckabee:  I kinda love this guy.  Mainly for the fact that I would get a huge kick out of putting a sticker on my car that reads, “I Heart Huckabee.”  Plus, he’s buds with Chuck Norris and he looks like a chubby Kevin Spacey.  What’s not to love?

Mitt Romney:  BWAAAAAAAAAHHHHH.  I start twitching everytime I see this man on camera.  He looks like Guy Smiley from Sesame Street…only more evil and slimy.  Guy Slimy.  Republican or not, he will not ever get my vote.

Thompson, Richardson, Guiliani.  As of right now, completely irrelevant, so I have nothing to say about them.  Maybe next time.

Over and out, kids.

  • Hillary clinton makes puppies fight each other to the death.

  • Politics are evil. Politicians too…

  • oh crap, come november, i’ll have to have all the news networks wiped off the tv channels!

hilary clinton. wasnt she presedent once already?

  • Mer.

    You people are hysterical.

  • Hillary Clinton has trained Mourning Doves to peck the eyeballs out of sea turtles.

  • Who needs sea turtles or puppies anyway?

  • I NEED SEA TURTLES!!!!!

  • everyone needs sea turtles.

  • I started out liking Huckabee.

Then he started to remind me of my hideously anti-Mormon Southern Baptist Grandmother.

I have disliked Hilary since ‘92.

    I don’t mind Obama.

Fred Thompson would get my vote for “Person I want to hang out with on a Saturday” but probably not for President.

I wouldn’t mind McCain at all. My husband thinks he’s too liberal but I like that.

Romney? Well…I like him. I’m probably even secretly rooting for him, but I think that has more to do with the fact that I desperately want to think that our nation doesn’t think that my childhood religion makes me a secondclass citizen.

    His hair bothers me, though.

I actually don’t mind Ron Paul even though he doesn’t have a shot in H-E-Double Hockey Sticks.

I can’t see Guilliani as Pres.

Personally, I think I’m going to vote for the Sea Turtle.
